CastIronFarmProfile: Christine Anderson, a seventh-generation farmer is the owner and operator of Cast Iron Farm. Christine showed beef and dairy cows in her youth and has won championships for both. After going out into the world to get a “job,” she realized that the only acceptable occupation would involve her passion, namely working with cows and creating healthful and life-full food for her family and her community. In 2007, Cast Iron Farm was born out of that realization.

Christine has undergone extensive and thorough education into dairy cow management and raw milk production. She works hard to create safe, high quality milk and enjoys helping other farmers learn how to produce raw milk with the same high standards.

Cast Iron Farm is a diverse operation, but the cows are the center and very heart of the farm. Christine believes in good old fashioned farming, and nothing epitomizes that better than a glass of fresh raw milk on your breakfast table.
